Recently I've taken to reading many of Isaac Asimov's non-fiction science books. I am currently half way through "Extraterrestrial Civilizations," and it's absolutely fascinating. Some of the info in them is out of date now, but he has a very clear writing style that makes complex subjects easy to understand. I've read a fair number of them, myself. And welcome to the forum.
