Viraat-Hermes Crowdfunding page

I hope it is okay to share this here.  In a few other threads we have talked about the disposal of aircraft carriers and I think it is appropriate sharing this here in it's own thread.

The plan is to have an Intrepid like museum in London.

To get those across the other side of the water on-board here is a USN F-4 on Hermes in 1963:

And an S-2 in 1962:

Intrepid has a Scimitar that would have operated from Hermes at one time but they have loaned it to another museum.

I'm pretty sure that you can do advertising on the forum, but not if it involves money. I'll check the forum rules.

EDIT: I checked them, and found this under the 'Forbidden Content' section: Self promotional posts or that promote a 3rd party for profit, monetization other than optional donation (adf.ly etc) and advertising products or services without prior approval. So you should've probably messaged a moderator about this, and got permission from them.

We wouldn't want forum members advertising businesses or services. There's enough spam on the internet already. Nor would we want you fold bugging each other for money. But charitable things, as long as you are not profiting from it yourself, are probably alright. As this one seems to be. :)
