The US space shuttle.  They blatantly ripped off the Mk3 parts, Vector engine, and BigS delta wings and tail fin.  Squad oughta sue them!

Not to mention they strapped the payload to the side of the bloody rocket, and put the engines on the payload.. at an angle.

The thing couldn't get any more kerbal if they held it together with struts made of duct tape.

The H-IIA.

I mean, come on! Does it not scream "JUMBO 64" and "RT-10" to you?

And the Delta IV Heavy while we're at it. Jumbo 64's, Mainsail engines (with cool shrouds), those weird nosecones, and the LES.

Ariane 5!

The whole "Giant booster" and "sideways nose cone" thing.

Long March 7 just screams Kerbal in so many ways.

Come to think of it, so does Long March 5.

To a certain extent, Proton, because of the engine layout.

Ares I (although it only flew once and that was a boilerplate second stage)!

This might as well just be a KSP blueprint! I mean, come on! We've got J64's, the giant booster, the MK1-2 pod, a Skipper, and an LES!

Actually, the entire Ariane series (but Ariane 5 is way closer).

But as far as the most Kerbal idea?

I'd have to go with Shtil'. What is Shtil', you ask? Nobody has really heard of it..

Three liquid fueled stages, standard control systems, modified ICBM, low payload to orbit... It seems pretty normal, until you learn that it was launched from a submarine!

@Snark Leave it to dalymail to pull a random joke image off the internet... Leave it to the KSP community to combine the Saturn V, the SLS, the STS, the Delta IV, the Falcon Heavy, and who knows what else...

The Saturn 1B has my vote. The first stage looks like a bundle of FL-T800s with "all the fins" glued on for good measure. And it was launched from a stool!

The Titan III-E gets my vote, because of the enormous fairing. I mean, come on-look at the size of that thing!

Also, struts.

Since this is about real spacecraft instead of those in the game, the thread has been moved to Spaceflight.

B

Is that Ariane III in the middle? Because that looks totally kerbal. First stage not powerful enough? Stick a pair of Thumper SRBs on the side. Still no good? Add moar Thuds!

To me, Ariane I to Ariane IV rockets screams about being very, very Kerbal. "Aerodynamics ? Forget that, it works right ?"

Especially  the I to IV indeed, however the later Arianes also are quitte kerbal.

Well to me they only look kerbal thanks to those Shuttle/SLS lookalikes in-game. They're not as kerbal as an entire contraption of struts or somesuch.

That one is an parody on kerbal rockets, it even uses crossfeed.
Boosters on second stage and even the 3rd is an unique bonus.

Well, we all know the LEAST kerbal rocket must be the Soyuz.

And so is the Soyuz spacecraft.

Ah, yes. The Uragans screams of "MOAR BOOSTERS !!?!?!!!" straight to everyone. Angara is just like a less bonkers Uragan. They're still relatively sleek though, so still not as kerbal as those many tiny spiky strap-ons add-more-as-you-go of Ariane I to IV !

The Ares 1 was built Upside down

Various versions of the Atlas V where made without Symmetry

as was a variation of the Zenit which I've recreated in KSP
