Only five seconds between the engines start-up and the sound arrival. I don't know the local conditions at the time, but they were standing around 1.7 km only from the pad; lucky guys.

Any electronic camera is an video camera, the rest is software basically as long that you can handle the data stream out of it, this is trivial and has been for decades, main issue is bandwidth.
