MK 1-2 weight is off center

Is this bugged or is there just a massive torque on the MK 1-2 for no reason? I have a lot of use for the 3 man pod and dont want to have to rig two 2-man pods or use a 4 man lander can, for no reason.

Yours appears to be modded with an engine of some kind, possibly some integral RCS?:

Maybe KER is simulating it firing asymmetrically for some reason?

I have Ven's Stock Revamp and when it comes to the MK 1-2 pod: "The 1-2 pod with better hatch placement (No longer asymmetrical!). Now has functional RCS ports!"

@Ven is this weight distribution intentional?

@ItsSeanBroleson I think it is intentional to make "natural" craft orientation in airstream at angle to retrograde. That way, capsule bottom serves as a lifting surface and allows maneuverability in air by rotating around the axis of symmetry. In real mission, this is used to reduce g-loads on reentry and for precise landing targeting since Gemini.

If you want the stock behavior, find the file GameData/VenStockRevamp/Squad/Parts/Command.cfg and comment out all the lines that change CoMOffset.

Ohhh, I do remember learning that the Soyuz decent capsule does fall at an angle, but I didn't know American space programs followed suit. Alright, well if it affects the drag on my first stage ascent or something, maybe I'll go in and change the .cfg file, but we'll see. Thanks for the info.
