Edge of KSP universe?

I'm wondering what will happen at the edge of the ksp universe. I've tired looking it up but it seems no one has done it it. The ksp universe has to have a end because nothing in computers is infinite. If nobody knows I'll find out myself. Does anyone know what happens ? Can u find the kraken in it's not possessive form? Let's find out!

I haven't done gotten there in a while (usually takes a glitch or hyperedit), but last I recall you simply stop moving. Your velocity drops to zero and that's pretty much it.

I think it involves floating point numbers. See this video for a pretty good explanation of what floats do.

well i was curious too and well Val was not impressed, then all the planets disappeared, the game crashed, my save file was ruined so i just used a back up, lets not try this at home kids.

That same bug happened with me.

That's just normal, by overpassing the upper limit of a float variable you just basically gets KSP to segfault

Gonna try anyway. Gonna get kopernicus and some extremely far planet packs so it's increased. Wonder if maybe I can get there without bugs happening

If only procedural dwarf planets and asteroids would be generated, going to the edge would be justified
