Reusable Rocket Trajectories

I decided to rebuild my rockets for 1.3.1 and was wondering whats the correct trajectory on the accent and burn back for a reusable. Searching around I can't seem to find any definitive answer on which is the best, the KoS rockets I've tired do it in different ways. Currently I use a 45 degree end turn and an 80% turn shape in mechjeb for my accent. Then I usually burn retrograde for a bit and then point towards the horizon to get the booster back to KSC. My booster continues up and then comes down. I also use a locked fuel tank on the bottom for my burn back fuel so my accent might not be exactly how Mechjeb plans it.

Your video is where I learned how to do it in the first place. Great video, I will pay more attention to it.
