I'm Talking About A Horizontal Cargo Doors Starship. It Will Deliver Rovers,Cargo,Etc To The Planets/Moons Surfaces.

Yeah... cargo starship is kind of useless when delivering cargo to other bodys.

You're better off using really anything else.

When I constructed my mun base, I off loaded the modules in a really weird way by deorbiting as normal, decoupling while over the surface, and landing the module and starship separately. The module needs it's own propulsion stage, Which adds more weight and dry mass to begin with, which means I need to sacrifice more fuel.
Plus you can't do that on a planet with an atmosphere, or tylo.

It's kind of a pain in the ass when delivering fuel.

The cargo space is not generous to begin with, and It needs an propulsion stage (like I mentioned before)

Even when assembling modules in orbit, there's hardly any space for an "Canadarm" of any kind, and even if you do, It'll end up clipping in the tanks.

Although all these problems or flaws are mostly starship's.

The way I do things is by launching payloads into orbits around bodies, launch a landing stage which docks with the payload and lands it on any given body. To be honest though I do find the Starship payload bay size very constricting. I'd recommend making the nosecone longer and the tank shorter. Starship does have more fuel than necessary even when fully loaded with 100+ tons of payload.

SpaceX unveils users' guide for giant Starship rocket | Space

I'm so eager for this  ;.; It is soo hard to deliever payloads into surfaces with the aligator door Starship  :confused:

Damon is doing a great job though, I try to enjoy the things he's currently putting his attention into, just patiente enjoying what I already have, which is amazing!  ;)

Found an odd bug - if I try to use the Mothra Aerodynamic Fairing Adapter as the *only* probe core on a vessel, I get zero connection to anywhere and the launcher can't be used. However, if I add any other probe core it seems to work just fine controlling from it.

Oh! I will take a look at it!

So my raptor engines aren't producing any thrust, the plumes are generated but no thrust. the engines say no fuel flow but again zero thrust.

@damonvv

This hapenens to me as well but only without infinite fuel on

It had EC available... At least 80 units on that part alone, which is enough for several minutes. No, the icon for loss of control totally disappeared - see this screenshot, top left. I should at least have a red icon showing no commnet contact if that was the case. Adding a probe core made it work..

It should be mentioned that there are a LOT of mods in my save, but so far I haven't had any other situations like this..

@damonvv

You are probably using some type of fuel mod. Make sure you are using the correct versions and the correct combination of mods.

So, I started using Tundra back a while ago and my Raptor engines always had a sort of "Spool up" time where it wouldn't instantly throttle up the raptors (Like stock engines.) with the recent update this has disappeared. Any ideas?

We removed it when you install Mechjeb. People complained a lot when it spooled up and they couldn't land with just Mechjeb.

Yes. Download Tundra Exploration’s RO configs, and there will be an extras folder.  Go in it and go inside the SpaceX decals folder. Now just merge that gamedata folder with the gamedata folder in your ksp folder. it should ask you to override. click yes. It should override the decals and you should be good to go!

So now that Lunar Starship with the ladder and the Falcon 9 like legs is gonna be a thing, are we gonna see it in this mod? (Maybe in V5.0?)

I wouldn't bet on it because the design is still subject to change.

V 6.0 will have lunar starship and V 5.0 will have SN15
