Where is that written?

I agree that stock sizes are about 5/8th (1/1.64) scale, but masses are typically greater than real rockets, especially payloads, pods, fuel tanks and engines.

This is done for “balance “ because Kerbin is tiny.

Yeah I know, things are a little more complicated than my estimation. Anyway, 10 times the mass was a bit too much, it also was much more than the stock fairings. damonvv already changed the fairing's mass to essentially the same value a month ago, it just isn't released yet.

Here's a few screenshots from a recent mission I did. It send a communication satellite to Medium Kerbin Orbit. That sat will slowly boost itself to the Mun. Inspired a little by how Beresheet got to the Moon. I'm excited for the update btw :D

Tundra Exploration 1.4 is released! Whoop!

This version includes the following!

- Added new shader to solar panels
- Added custom shader for soot change on Ghidorah (Thanks to @DMagic and @Shadowmage for the help!)
- Added Revamped New Horizons (Paneer) parts
- Added Iridium parts
- Fixed fairing colliding with interstage
- Fixed Ghidorah interstage not pushing second stage away
- Cargo box adjustments
- Updated CoL heatshield Gigan
- Revamped Rodan IVA
- Fixed fairing seam on Ghidorah 
- Revamp of Rapor plumes (By @JadeOfMaar @Nessus_)
- Revamp of Merlin plumes (By @JadeOfMaar @Nessus_)
- Fixed FH decoupler pushing boosters sideways almost into the core itself

Download them on SpaceDock while it's hot!
Read the OP to see which dependency you need, I reduced the amount and added as few more recommended for IVA stuff.

Amazing update Damon! Flabbergasted by those new plumes. 

Although I guess the release date was determined by 1.7 more than anything it's very aprops to see this drop soon on the heels of that epic Falcon Heavy launch.

Naybe I missed something , but in the VAB and on the Pad the booster texures are flickering , Plumes are amazing .

First of. Congrats on the release of 1.4

I'm wondering where the 3 Engine mode for the octopus has gone. Last time i tried (which was today) i couldn’t switch to it only the 1 and 9 engine modes were working.

You need Kerbal Actuators for the three-engine mode :)

It's in the recommended tab. You need Kerbal Actuators in order for it to work :) 

This is an attempt at getting less required mods (for CKAN sake) and KA isn't on CKAN so that's why I moved it there!
