Symmetry randomly broke.

Part symmetry randomly broke when i tried to move a part. It tries to place the 2 wings facing the same direction while still being attached to the correct parts.

Is there anything i can do to fix it?

Try deleting the part that it's attached to, maybe. I've had this problem several times, but I've never noticed a good fix aside from removing the root. (Not the root root, rather, one of the sub-roots)

You probably tried to change the symetry while attaching it to a already symetric placed part. Do as @Earthlinger said and you'll have a prober workaround.

Specifically, parts inherit the mode and number of the symmetry of any part they happen to touch as you drag them around the screen.

It sounds like you have them in mirror mode, or a part on your ship is in mirror mode and your part is touching it as you drag it to where you want to put it, or the part you are putting the part on is in that mode.
