Module for contract doesn't exist?

Yo, @bewing: I know you test all the contracts to look for any bugs, and I think I've got one for you.

 

 

I accepted this contract to recover a module from solar orbit, but it does not appear in the tracking station.

 

 

Sorry for posting this here. Not exactly sure how to go about posting bugs. I've never signed on to the bug tracker. Things like this happen now and then, but I just ignore it because it's not a big deal and doesn't really affect my game. However, I know that running down this kind of thing is what you do, so I thought you'd wanna know. I have the savegame if you want it.

 

And apologies to Gameplay Questions followers for posting here.

You have to focus the Sun to see solar orbiting stuffs.

And it's probably a good thing it's posted here -- to remind people about that little detail.

Yup. Should've focused so you could see.

 

 

You can also see it doesn't appear in the list of tracked objects.

 

 

And just to show the difference, I accepted a "rescue Kerbal" contract from solar orbit as well.

 

 

And I just realized it probably would've been smarter if I had PM'd you for this. Again, sorry.

That's awesome. I've long believed that, if you're gonna look like an idiot, best to get it over with early in the day. That way you have time to turn things around. 

 

(Here I'll offer the pathetic defense that this is my first new Career in 2 years. I forgot to turn 'em on. )

That was kinda why I accepted it. I figured it was 50/50 I'd get screwed with a retrograde orbit. It would definitely make things interesting.
