I’m going to use a tank! More specifically, a MBT-6C Cervus. With the full weapon load. For Science!

This is probably an awful idea, but I’m going ahead with it! I’ll start tomorrow.

I did that last year ... even set up targets to shoot at on my way between checkpoints

@ShadowGoat - Modified a set of DCK shields to try and do a hamster ball ... Kinda worked but kinda didn't

Oh... I tend to only use stock or visual mods.

Actually just put an engine on that and you have a great frictionless sled...

Ok I might make an exception and use the shields as frictionless sled runners unless I can find a stock alternative.

Just a quick question; I assume we're allowed to refuel our tanks and refill our batteries between stages with no time penalties?

Didn't even think to ask until I'd already used most of both to set a blistering time on the first stage, hah.

Search google for 'OBS' and the first set of links that show up is what you are looking for ... Open Broadcaster Software

Click the download link and follow the instructions ... there is a setup guide somewhere on their site as well

Just finished stage 3; the fear of crashing and having to restart completely is really starting to show in my stage times. Each stage is about 2 minutes slower than the one before.

Hahaha my car is capable of going hypersonic. It also has a little separatron jump boost and a set of plane landing gear to take the strain off of the rover wheels at high speeds and when doing a hard landing.

Something tells me such a vehicle might violate both the spirit and the rules of the challenge, though.

Actually it has a slight problem. It randomly just explodes completely when going over level ground. Not sure why. Also it's perfectly legal. There is no rule against self propelled jumping!

Yeah, I can make a hypersonic car that "jumps" the length of a rally stage too. Pretty sure most people call that flying though.

I mean yeah technically, but it has the same effect. So it breaks the spirit of the rule.
