Servo's 1:1 Stock Replica Showcase

1:1 Scale Replicas

Full stock, full scale, full power

In a scaled-down universe filled with scaled-down kerbals, it's easy to forget how big real planes are. F-15 Eagles and F-14 Tomcats are over 60 feet long, dwarfing pilots and ground crews. Cargo planes are absolutely massive, with the C-5 Galaxy coming in at almost 250 feet long with 220 feet of wingspan.

Additionally, the amount of detail that can be achieved in a replica is limited by size - parts are only so small. 1:1 replicas can better mimic profiles, cockpits, and wing shapes, making them as visually accurate as possible.

@ShadowGoat that will be a challenge. No one ever gets the proportions correct.

Great work! Could you make a 1:1 warthog?

Ask and ye shall receive...

This one still needs a lot of work, particularly in the flyabillity department.

A mostly top-down view. This was a first pass, I'm going to do some overlays tomorrow and make it more exact.

Does it come with an ejector seat? I think it would be cool if each of your planes had one real life quirk with them.

I've got a few cool 1:1 replicas, mind if I share some too?

I'm in love with your MiG-21 Bis - I want to see what else you (and everyone else) have been up to!

If I may, I'd like to put a spotlight on Gelo10102 on KerbalX (https://kerbalx.com/Gelo10102). His F-22, YF-23, and A-5 (well, all of them) are absolutely spot on.

I stumbled upon his Mig-29 as I was looking for something to fight my Panavia Tornado F.1
