How exactly, will we be able to update this version?

I've been wondering, since the release is going out on January 16th, how will we be abl to update? will I have to repurchase it?

I don't know the specifics because I don't play on console, but Squad has repeatedly said that people will not have to purchase the game again to get the new version.

I imagine it will be pushed out just like a standard game update, but that's just a guess.
