Having docking ports in the staging (advanc. tweak.) is great, but how to fire them for a second time?

After years of playing I finally found out that you can enable advanced tweakables, which is great for having the docking port in the staging.
It works great as an alternative for decouplers. Though what I was hoping for is to hook 2 stages back together and then being able to fire them again, which sadly it doesn't.

So here's the question, is there a way to reset a staged item to fire it again, or an other way to solve this problem?

If I want to undock my ports as if staging them, multiple times, I assign the undock/decouple function to an Action Key.

Hmmmm. Looks like you should be able to do it more than once in theory, but you're right that it doesn't reset. I'll file a feedback about it.

To the best of my knowledge, staging only ever happens once to any part. If you want to toggle it repeatedly, you need action groups (or the context menu).

Yeah, but if you have two docking ports (which you need in order to be able to reattach in the first place), then you should be able to stage them once each, at least.
