graphics mods

i would like to have clouds and storms but to do that i have to download a ridiculous amount of mods and when its done  its really laggy because ive downloaded 5 other graphics mod that are required that i did not want is there a mod for adding clouds by itself?

There is only one mod that adds clouds. There has only ever been one mod that adds clouds, in fact  That's Environmental Visual Enhancements. Other graphics mods may ship their own cloud textures, but to make the clouds appear you actually need EVE.

So if you take just that, you'll get clouds, without any other dependencies. But be aware that volumetric clouds (the thing where the flat 2D cloud texture becomes a real 3D fog as you get closer to it) are by themselves the single most performance intensive graphics feature that there is. Investigate if you can possibly turn that off and just use 2D clouds everywhere.
