Can older versions of CKAN install older versions of mods?

If I get CKAN for 1.2.2, will it show the versions of the mods from 1.2.2 or will it show mods the latest version of KSP 1.3.1?

You can change what versions of KSP CKAN finds mods for in the settings.

CKAN inspects your KSP directory to determine the version you have installed, and by default it only shows mods compatible with that version.

EDIT: Don't install an older CKAN, though; you'll just be reviving old bugs. The latest is the greatest.

I should also note that installation of older mods is dependent on availability of older mods. Sometimes servers go down, users delete accounts, etc., and CKAN doesn't do anything about that (yet). But 1.2.2 should be mostly immune to that at this point.
