CSA Contares 'CORE' contains most of components that are used across all CSA Contares Sub-Mods.

What you get with CSA Contares 'CORE' and the Sub-Mods?

All objects are created as accurately as possible on a 50% scale.
50% scale means 1/2 of the size, 1/4 of the thrust, 1/8 of the weight.
Further adjustments are due to the physical properties of the Kerbal universe.

Reference diameters are 0.3125m, 0.625m, 0.9375m, 1.25m, 1.5m, 1.5625m,  1.875m, 2.1875m, 2.2m (ESA Parts only), 2.5m, 3.75m and 5.0m.
Inquiries regarding diameters are superfluous by the effort of simple head calculations or a calculator.

Fuel tanks designed for use with Contares LH2/LOX engines contain significantly less fuel. Fuel tanks which do not contain an entry for LH2/LOX in the description as well as all stock tanks should be set to 30% Liquid Fuel/Oxidizer when combined with Contares LH2/LOX engines.

Regarding the arrangement of parts in the techtree there is certainly still much to steer.  This work i am glad to leave to ambitious users because i personally have no interest in career or scientific mode.

 

Required mods:

- Installation of RealPlume (contained engines use this engine effects mod only)  RealPlume is out of support
- Installation of  Waterfall (engine plumes now all use Waterfall effects)
- Installation of Tweakscale (change size of parts;reduces unnecessary duplication of standard parts; actualli not realy compatible but it's work!)
- Installation of RetractableLiftingSurface (Module which allows you to have a folding wing or other retractable lifting surface; used on Paraglider and Baikal-Booster Wings and Dream Crusher Wings)
- Installation of Firespitter (Plugins only; allows Texture switching, Prop-Animations and more; used on UNION parts; more to come)
- Installation of USI-Tools (Plugin used for floaters and inflatable [air]bags)
- Installation of DMagic's Module Science Animate

Does this work with USI-Life Support?

Also is there a mod out there that is similar to this one but more focused on American rockets? That still looks stock like in a way.

What is not listed in the mod description as recommended or necessary is also not supported. Please make yourself, the other readers and me the favor first to read the manual and then, if necessary, to ask questions.
USI Life Support is not supported so far. If there is a good soul who writes a corresponding MM-Patch?

The 'American' Sub-Mod CSA Contares 'NAM' is expected to be released on the weekend.

With the next release, probably next weekend, the range of available antennas will be expanded. Presumably, some older models will be replaced by finer modeled versions. The older versions will be preserved for one or two minor releases.

So far so good!

The CSA Contares Mods / Submods CORE, MEU, KHI, PROBE and NAM are updated, but still on 1.3.1.
 

All CSA Contares Mods are running under 1.4.0. There are only in the required foreign mods still a deficit. TweakScale, MechJeb and Module-Manager are already running. Further tests are carried out.

 I've got the latest version of all the submods installed, nut for some reason I can't get any of the parachutes from the CORE added to the VAB. I tried loading some of the premade ships included with the mod, but they all give me a "contains missing or invalid parts" error. The parts of the mod that are working (which is about 90% of it) are amazing, so keep up the good work!
