Staging

I am having an issue where when i am building a rocket and go to launch the first stage engine uses all of the fuel for the second and third stage engines. So when I stage, there is no fuel left. Am I building something wrong here? Any ideas?

Have u enabled crossfeed? Normaly decouplers have crossfeed Off in default. Or are u using dockingports?

Are the fueltanks full before u Launch?

Yes they are full before launch. And I am using normal decouplers. How do you turn crossfeed off

Right click open the Part Action Menu of the decoupler (or docking port), "Disable/Enable crossfeed".

To be fair, you'd think by now you'd be able to plug in a mouse to an Xbox One or PS4 and use them in game.

I should really plug in a mouse to my Xbox One and see if I get a cursor at all..

If u havent changed crossfeed, it should be Off(that's what u want for staging). If all tanks are full and have No connection to each other as by the decouplers i Really have No Clue. Or are u using yetengines? Maybe u can make a screenshot?
