How do I get an encounter with another planet

Eny pro know how to get an encounter with any planet on console?

(preferably not eve)

I don't play on console, but I imagine this aspect is the same as the PC game. Here's a calculator which can tell you when to burn to reach other planets. Was there any particular part of it you were having trouble with?

Have a look at Scott Manleys youtube videos, he has an excellent beginners tutorial.

Exactly. His tutorials are great and best way to start with the game. Better than any wiki, etc. He show and explains the basic in detailed and easy to understand way. After watching his tutorial you wont know everything about the game. But you will be able to play without problems.

There's also the in game tutorials, pretty handful.

If you also like reading, the game manual is pretty good and fun to read, it's one of the apps on the right side of the screen.

True. But Scott Manleys begginer tutorials are much deeper (seriously approx 10 hours of interesting stuff) and they dont just cover what to do, but also why to do it and what would happen if you do it another way. After his videos the game is much easier to understand by "common sense".

When you are beggining I really suggest to watch at least first fours his videos. Then all the ingame tutorials. And then go for career.
