1.4 Partial part icons on first row - MacOS

Recommended Posts

@Squelch Now that I have some mods installed I see with longer part lists that the part icons also overlap the GUI elements at the bottom of the window. I know this is an "unmodded installs" thread but likely it is another manifestation of the same bug.

Without seeing the code, it looks to me like the whole part-icon layer is shifted down - the top is cut off, and the bottom overlaps the cost display.
Gentoo GNU/Linux, Nvidia 390.25, graphics settings (inc. AA) have no effect.
Did anyone even QA this thing on *nix?

Chasing some magic smoke on Gentoo Linux? /me high fives steve

I haven't seen anyone else mention this(edit - I'm blind, it was), but on the tabs with enough parts to scroll, it's also doing this:

1.4.1 on Linux Mint, 1440 x 900 in a maximized window.

It's like some kind of view box has been slid down.

I confirm that, Windows 10, top half missing with anti-aliasing disabled,
all is fine with 2x anti-aliasing. (1920x1200 resolution)

2x anti-aliasing. (1920x1200 resolution) is function. Thx

This thread was originally for MacOS, and has been confirmed fixed on that platform. We have now found a fix for Linux Ubuntu 16.04 but too late to fully test for side effects before the 1.4.2 patch was released.

It does look good so far and will feature in the next patch release all going well. For now, it will have to be the workarounds with AA and sizing of the window or screen resolution I'm afraid.

Please feel free to start a new thread for this problem on the Linux platform.

[Edit to add]

I have marked @henr1k's reply as the answer to this support question.

This thread is quite old. Please consider starting a new thread rather than reviving this one.
