All incorrect. It's "ambiguous".

Jeb goes on a skiing trip in the Alps. But he spends the better part of his time in the hospital. When he gets home, the customs officials do not ask him to show his passport. Why not?

Clues:

Is Jeb an important official who does not need to do this? No.

Does the type of transportation he is using matter? No.

:o

Good visual pun then. Pronouncing doesn't help though !

Anyway, he's dead, or he's now just ashes, or he's now an ice sculpture.

A ship encounters a storm while travelling from Japan to San Francisco. It unfortunately sinks exactly in the middle of the International Date Line, killing most of the passengers. If the ship left Japan on Thursday and the voyage takes exactly 2 days, on what day were the survivors killed during the sinking of the ship?

Correct. He died in the hospital. Poor guy. And he just wanted to go on vacation...

Anyway, Monday...? I'm not good with geography.

They weren't killed at all; otherwise they wouldn't be survivors.

It says "on what day were the survivors killed during the sinking of the ship?".

If they were killed during the sinking, they wouldn't have survived it.

Or I'm working with a wrong definition here and "survivor" has an additional, completely different meaning I don't know of.

I don't know what that means...

They sank in a storm right ? They must be wet. There's some wetness in it - it is a wetness day. Wednesday.

He looks and speaks exactly like all of them in their town.
Just wears an orange baggy suit.
So, they thought he is somebody's nephew from the capital.

Unhappy, unhappy day. Even the survivors got killed.

Maybe that was a sandstorm or snowstorm?

Got it. They thought he was dead and suddenly met him at customs'. They thought he is a ghost and hid under the tables. So, he just passed by.
