How can I launch the Making History expansion successfully?

I downloaded the Making History expansion but when I launch it I get a black screen. 

I asked the technical support and they told me to uninstall and download/launch again.

 

I don't know how to uninstall it on my Mac

Could you please help as I was very much looking forward to this expansion. I am not a very experienced user so can you please help me in a simple step by step way?

Hi,

Do you have any mods installed ? They could interfere in the loading.

Try to cut/paste them in another file, and then launch the game and see if it works.

 

If you play stock ksp...well in this case idk

Do you know how to get to the folder where KSP is?  Steam or KSP store version, GOG?
