This looks cool! Is it compatible with Kerbalism?

Thanks! I haven't created a Kerbalism patch yet but maybe I can do this for the next update.

Looks good. I do get a failed MM patch on the ka330-science.cfg. It's caused by a common patch that sets science rewards to full. Looking at the part cfg file itself, I can see that there is a typo. It says "scienceVap" instead of "scienceCap"!

Damn that's frustrating. I literally changed that as part of the release. I don't know what happened. Spacedock has been updated with the release / fix and CKAN should have it sometime later. Update going through on Curse now as well. Thanks for the heads up on that.

Having problems getting this Mod to work.

I have done the following:

Forced KSP to use OpenGL

installed into GameData

    000_TexturesUnlimited

    ConnectedLivingSpace

    NearFutureProps

    TweakScale

    UmbraSpaceIndustries

Is there a guide to so that I can get this Mod running.

@bcink I'm trying to add a Kerbalism support patch, so for that I need to know if this is somehow "important" for the inflation of the KA330exterior and what it actually is:

	MODULE
{
	name = moduleAnimateGeneric
	animationName = blah
}

Or is this some remain that you forgot to delete?

Same in KEAM ...

I wasn't quite hip with exactly what was going on at the time. Science experiments kept spitting error about part module 1 doesn't implement iscalarmodule - Essentially the science experiment I copied from was linked to an animation or effect which was not present in my model / config. Adding a bunk animation removed the error. In retrospect, what should have happened is simply removing FXModules = 1 from the science experiments and removing the fake animation module. It was a dirty fix that should be resolved if there's ever an update.

Can you also tell me the part's volume and surface of KA330exterior and KEAM ?

Surface = 1.34685 m^3

Volume = 0.0500128 m^3

Thanks :D

That is KEAM?

Correct, oh - let me get you KA330 also:

Contracted surface area: 6.697988 m^3

Expanded surface area: 18.1358

Expanded volume: 0.327852 m^3

Can't get exact contracted volume due to shape keys in blender. Hope that helps!

Hmm. I don't feel that this is enough for a crew of 3 ... When I see the picture in the OP and the part in VAB ...
Do you know how much that is? Less than a bath tube ...

If I don't provide these variables in the Kerbalism config, Kerbalism will get them by code - but only if the model was not rotated in the 3D editor ...

Quote

note: this can only be called when part has not been rotated, we could use the partPrefab bounding box, but then it isn't available in GetInfo()

btw what I wanted to say is that I think you made a mistake by getting these values - especially the volume.

Hopefully these numbers are better... these are from the print3d plugin

KA330 expanded

vol = 4968654cm3

surface = 4576904cm3

KEAM expanded

vol = 5429843cm3

surface = 173912cm3

@bcinkDo you have plans for an update? The inflatable parts don`t work in 1.7.x.

I realize I'm a bit late here, but just tested and seems OK to me. The only thing that may not work is TACLS - config file reads "ThunderAerospace" and that has been updated to "TacLifeSupport", I believe. What isn't working for you?

@bcink would you ever think about adding a BA-2100?

Probably not... I feel that it's much too similar to the existing one, IVA included. =/
