The C11 is the same as the C10, but offers more passenger capacity. We did think to make the seats removable and ajustable this time around, so you could have a cabin where every kerbal has some legroom to themselves.

Also I have a question, is it legal to use the Size 1.5 parts and how many passengers will they count for if so?

It's legal to use, but the OP has not decided the Kerbal content yet. As it takes a while for a plane to get reviewed, by the time your's is up for review I'm sure we will know what size they really are

Super Jumbo SC64 (mechjeb)

I made a mach ~3.00 supersonic SuperJumbo that (can) also land/takeoff from water.

  1. Category Super Jumbo
  2. 239 Parts
  3. 836 Passengers (4 crew)
  4. Seaplane/Supersonic Jet
  5. Takeoff speed 110m/s or 75m/s with afterburners if you thrust the nose up using the Panthers at the front.
  6. Range = 5000Km
  7. Max speed = Mach 2.87 at 11km.
  8. Price: $1.930.985.000

Action groups:

  • 1:Toggles wet/dry engine mode on panthers.
  • 2:Toggles Panthers on/off.
  • 4:Toggles nose cargo bay Panthers to lift nose up.
  • 5:Toggles front cargo bays.

As is mentioned, can use Panther engines at the front to quickly rise the nose, or soft land the nose when performing a water landing.
Can takeoff from runway and land anywhere.

Explanation water landing: It is difficult!

Best is to use Mechjeb Smart A.S.S. Surface mode and hold pitch at 9° on MTOW and use 1/3 to 1.3/3 throttle and make sure you softly touch the water on the rear then use action group 4 to activate the panthers on the back and 2 to cut the forward throttle and push the nose down with "W" until the nose comes down far enough and then "S" to keep it above water until it settles down. Try to practice this. If you fail to reactivate the front Panthers at full throttle to late it nose will hit the water to fast and the Panthers will be destroyed. If you activate them to fast the nose will steep climb out of the water and potentially pitch backwards.
Reactivate action group 4 to deactivate the front panthers. Best is to land at 70-75m/s wait for the rear to sink halfway into the water then press 2 followed by 4 and span "Z" to max throttle to settle the nose down.
To get out of the water use action group 2 to toggle forward throttle and accelerate to 72m/s and then activate action group 4 while pressing "S" until the nose comes up far enough. Don't wait long enough to deactivate otherwise the nose will pull up to hard. Press "5" to toggle cargo bay doors.

May require practice.
Should be able to do without Mechjeb and steps should be re-producable as handling with SAS seems good enough. Just make sure the back of the plane touches as softly as possible and try to land not faster then 85m/s

Instructions:

Fly runway and takeoff 5° on dry engine settings at MTOW and accelerate. Keep accelerating at 5° on dry until reach 3300meter altitude. Activate "action group 1" to switch to wet mode at 3300meter altitude and maintain 5° until 12km and then level off within 0° to 1°  and try to hold 0° until above 830m/s and then hold 0° from there on.

I6Gb7yW.jpg

39001 / 8.05 * 857,8 = 4155Km range :) at Mach 2.89
Note: That is in wet mode after traveling 150km from the KSC. On dry it could do much further.

Turboprops of Espartan Industries

We are proud to present the new KRT, it comes in two sizes, the small one for small airports with 48 seats and the large one for high density routes with 72 seats.

It includes its most famous characteristics:
Small wheel in the tail to prevent the tailstrike and save on pilot training.
The height has been reduced to the minimum allowed to reduce airport costs since it does not need any airport equipment for luggage or passangers.

Supersonic Hopper Victor Terra Lumenhttps://kerbalx.com/direstorm/Victor-Terra-Lumen

Built by the Victor Terra Phlogistonic Laboratory.

Ignition sequence. Set brakes. Set lights. Vertical Ascent engine bays should be open and vertical ascent engines should be Wet. Activate all engines and spool until brakes fail, then release brakes. NOTE: Vertical Ascent engines and bays should be toggled with landing gear. Do not toggle landing gear until plane can maintain level flight.

Liftoff at 60 m/s. Raise gear at 90 m/s. Vertical Ascent engines should toggle OFF and bays should close.

Continue climbing until cruising altitude of 21500 meters and speed of 1495 m/s (Recommended Cruising Altitude).

Landing: Descent to 10km and 1000 m/s. Toggle brakes to decelerate to subsonic speeds near landing site. Toggle landing gear. Vertical Ascent bays should open and vertical ascent engines should toggle ON. Toggle lights OFF. Vertical ascent engine mode should now be DRY. Using high-maneuverability mode, pilot to landing site at low speeds and deploy parachutes.

Craft will finish descent vertically. Maintain forward speed.

Price: 231,951,000 per unit.

Do you need a craft that can lift a company of soldiers from a parking lot in Los Kerbos and set them down on a football pitch in Bangkerb? Do your executives want to fly from New Kerbork to a meeting in Laika and be back in time for supper? Look no further! The Lumen can take off from practically anywhere, land practically anywhere, and has controls so simple a palsied monkey* can get your passengers home safe.  T-Z-Go has never been so much fun!

*For typical palsied monkies. VTΦL is not responsible for any passenger deaths resulting from pilot by atypical palsied monkies.

I Present the Endre Er STS 1A 'Osprey', designed for Imperial Business aircraft co/IBA

http://3PEIVJc.png

http://FX8yR0E.png

Who says you can't do a loop?

http://6W4jMTg.png

Category: Supersonic Jet

class: Osprey SST

Max Cruising speed: Around 805 m/s (MACH 2.3) at around 15km with afterburners, can do around 300+m/s on normal mode

Range: around 3400km+ Far longer without afterburners

Price: $59850000

Passengers:32(40 when counting crew cabin)

Takes off at around 70m/s

Action Groups: 1: Toggle mode on Panthers, 2: Toggle Airbrakes

Mods: SXT, Airplane Plus

Download:https://kerbalx.com/JebHeadMugKerman/Endre-Er-STS-1B-Osprey

Marketing/Sales:

Very fast business jet, with cruise speed over mach 2.3, mach 3 in a dive, allowing you to get from city to city quickly

Very low price for a very high quality aircraft

Incredible manouverability, to easily get out of trouble

Good low speed handling, makes takeoffs easy

Luxurious interior, with 32 passengers

enough range to travel half the world

slows down very easily

The Osprey is a small business jet for luxury kerbals with lots of money needing to get from one place to another quickly. It has a drouge chute and airbrakes for landing at short strips. It is also exceptionally manouverable, and quite fast, with a cruise speed of around 800 m/s(mach2.3) another bonus to this plane is it's low speed handing, which is quite good..A faster and slightly larger version is being designed right now.

The OP hasn't posted at all since February, and the secondary judges (including myself) haven't posted any reviews in several months for various reasons. I wouldn't expect any reviews anytime soon, if at all.

That's sad to hear, but thank you for the time and effort you put into this challenge. I really enjoyed looking at everyone's submissions and making my own, even if I couldn't compete.

Perhaps the challenge can be revived for KSP2. Judged submissions would obviously be really cool, but some kind of scoring system could be made public so we can see how our designs stack up to those of others!

Including a public scoreboard, monthly submission intake, specific fleet demand (Reminiscent of American Airlines request for Convair 990), Best Manufacturer Award, etc.

No. On the first page there is a review of the rules and only a few mods are available and they have to be accessible by all and breaking ground costs extra.

I also haven't seen any reviews in a while. I think this page kind of fell apart through the summer.
