Possibly. We have no data, though. The Moon is almost certainly too low g to mitigate the problem, however.

I didn't mean it would be prohibitive to live on mars because of bone loss, just that i believe that by the time people will actually live and thrive on mars, we'll have found some way around that issue anyway.

No, but you do need an economic justification for doing so.  Said justification is extremely noticeable by its complete absence.
