i can't wait for CH12 tho!

It won't be chapter 12, it will be Chapter One of Book Two - Mystic. Also, this is a weekend project, on weekdays I'm just another Forum-goer with some of the best online friends ever.

@Lo Var Lachland I got it from a book I'm reading attempting to read called The Lemonade Crime.

Can you post a link to the next book?

Also, I have ideas for the names of the 'books' for mission discovery

Put it in the discussion thread, the next book is in this thread, I got it from the The Lord Of the Rings, which I am reading w/ my dad. Also, all the books will be one word long, since I love that style.

Interlude I

Between Book One and Book Two.

Meet the co-authors

Hi peeps, I've been thinking, even at this early (but convenient) point in the story, my co-writers deserve to be noticed.

So, this is our Meet The Co-Authors snip!

(If you're enjoying Seeker, consider following these people!)

@The Minmus Derp: My very first forum friend, this guy is Liam Kerman in our story. He's very danger-oriented, and is planning to start a sequel to Seeker called Mission-Discovery (Diskovery?)!

@Ho Lam KermanJoining my posse of writers soon after Minmus, he's Ho Lam in the story, and is... less danger-oriented than Minmus as well. And in real life, he is much nicer than a revenge-hungry ghost.

@Pascovian: A more recently joined person to the Seeker writing panel, this one has a love for danger as well, is starting a fledgling (no offense) fan-fiction known as Inter-Kuniversal. I'm also one of the Kuniversal writers!

@Lo Var Lachland: With a fanfic of his own, We Who Witnessed (oo, alliteration!) (which I don't read... sorry), this one is very new to the writer panel, and he promises to be a great writer! I'm very excited to see his suggestions!

@Skywalket This newbie joined as a fan- I’m very excited to see his ideas!

And, last but most definitely not least, @Earthlinger is probably the most cool-headed of us, and will soon, I know, begin giving us some nice ideas! The second-most recent addition to the Seeker author panel.

This closes the Meet our co-writers snippet.

If you're enjoying this, consider following these ones!

Book Two - Mystic

Prologue - She Was Alone

The sky tears over a planet, somewhere, at some time.

I say a planet not because the name is secret.

I say somewhere not because the place is secret.

I say some time not because the time is secret.

I, your sort of humble (I guess...?) narrator exist only to tell this story. Let's rewind.

<sound of rewinding tape...>

<universe ripples>

20 minutes before

This is a time where I may break the fabric of the universe and speak. When the whole world is peaceful, when things like this exist only to liven up the place... ha ha ha... little do the fledgeling ancestors of Kerbals (that's a bit of an exaggeration, the people below are from 5 generations ago... 50,000 years back) know the day will soon be livened up...

This is the second part of the Project Seeker Series, second part of Book One. We open with a flashback. Last book's cliffhanger was nice, huh?

My great-great-great grandfather told me this story. I've done a bit of theorizing, and have come up with a w

Well, I'll put you out of your misery now...

<sound of fast-forward>

<universe ripples>

The sky tears over a planet, somewhere, at some time.

I say a planet not because the name is secret.

I say somewhere not because the place is secret.

I say some time not because the time is secret.

I use these words because no-one knew what just happened, or cared.

"AAAAAHHHH!" Stellala screamed. You see, she was at 6G aerobraking Jool, and she was now at 2G about to crash into Kerbin. The computer's high gee-force alarm shut off.

"According to sensors, the ship is currently crashing into Kerbin. You have appiximately 90 seconds to eject."

"COMPUTER! EJECT ALL KERBALS FROM THE SHIP NOW!"

The computer fired up...

"30... 29... 28... 27.."

"Awww, forget that! EJECT US NOW!"

As you know, the TS had recently exploded. Even though it was fixed, all Kerbals were traumatized...

The alarm began blaring.

"bleeeepzzzztt... ALL PREPARE FOR EJECTION!! ABORT IN 2... 1..."

The Kerbals ejected. Unfortunately, the rest of the K.S.S. Inspiration's crew's parachutes ripped on a Modular Girder.

They didn't even have time to squeal.

Stellala landed on this seemingly deserted world.

She was alone.

so, if i learned the piece before Prologue, in the end of Book 5 you have KSS?

???

1 minute ago, Pascovian said:

it doesn't necesairly have to be KSS here

Well, I'd rather it is, because I want the continuity to be continuous, and maybe having a base at Kirn or something might help show that this isn't a fledgling space program

Spoiler

also if the AKG have a base there it'll show that they're that much more formidable.

Alright seriously let me write

Chapter One - A Mystic Meeting

Author's Note: This will be the last chapter for a long while. I need to get the next chapter ready. And a very big thing ( @Pascovian gave it away) will be happening in December.

The following logs are a transcript. I'm lucky to have Liam Kerman as a friend. Poor Stelala...

I'm on my last Kit-Kat. My emergency KerbaStik sandwich is my last resort.

KerbaStik is a brand of not-food.

Not-food? It's... not food. It makes you full for like... two decakerbols... but has NO TASTE.

and... I'm talking to no-one.

"Sorry, Captain Stelala. I turned on Log after you started talking."

Stelala sighed. "Okay, computer."

"good thing I have my EVA suit..." she mumbled to herself.

"WHO GOES THERE?!"

Stelala jumped.

"No, who are you?"

"WHO GOES THERE?"

"Um... Stelala Kerman?"

"Thine name is not familiar."

The way they talked was unusual. Like... Middle Kerbin?!

"Um..."

"SPEAK. I have warriors surrounding thee. They will soon smite thee if ye do not announce thine's intentions."

Okay. Definitely Middle Kerbin.

"Um, my name is Stelala. Wilt thou, perchance, refrain from killing me?"

"Who art thou?"

"I am a lost explorer seeking shelter." That part was true.

An unusual Kerbal wearing a cloak and no collar stepped up.

"Dost thou know who I am?"

"No, sir," Stelala said, her voice trembling.

"Fine. I shall take thee to my burrow. All Kerbals please follow!"

A bunch of Kerbals carrying... sticks? came out from the trees.

"I thank thee. Wilt thou please state thine name?"

"... fine. My name is Millan."

"I thank thee, Millan Kerman. You are too kind."

"...? Thine hast an unusual accent. I had noticed that."

Before Stelala could reply, she realized that they had been walking into a very large room. With a Kerbal who was clearly the leader inside.

"You have brought guests, Millan. Who art thou?"

"S-s-s-Stelala Kerman."

The Kerbal's eyes widened (somehow!).

"Millian. Thee and thine patrol may leave."

His patrol left.

"Um... I come travelling, looking for shelter," Stelala said afterward.

"Thine accent is odd. Hm..."

Without warning, the leading Kerbal screamed a nonsense word.

"Truthio Completus!"

Stelala suddenly felt a compelling desire to tell the truth, no, the Truth.

So she did.

At the end, the Kerbal at the end of the room looked like this: :0.0:

"I usually wouldst say that thee hast not told the truth. But I place full trust in my wand"

"-wand?" Stelala thought.

"I have speculated for a very long while that this wouldst be possible. I shall help ye."

"Familiarize!"

The Kerbal glowed purple... and then spoke.

"This... is an interesting sensation. Ah, I see you are confused. I simply made myself seem more familiar to you."
"Okay..."

"Then, let's go!"

"But, what - how-"

"Ah. How did I do these things?"

"Yeeeesss..."

"I," the Kerbal at the end of the room said, voice now considerably louder and deeper, "am a Mystic. Magical. Mystical. Legendary. We are the protectors of PEACE ON KERBIN."

"Okay..." Stelala said, unfazed. Hey, after a Kerbal changes speech like that, forces someone to tell the truth, and shouts that kind of thing without exploding, you get used to things.

"And I suspect you come from a place where Mystics are rare indeed. But I feel an aura of magic around you."

"Wait, so I'm-"

"Yes. You are A MYSTIC!"

"Oh."

"..."

"..."

They sat in silence like that for a long time.

"Um... you never told me your name," Stelala finally said.

"Star."

"Star?"

"Star. Just and only Star. The first Mystic. And most magical."

"Oh."

"..."

"..."

And with a swish of a cloak, Stelala Kerman and Star were somewhere... not Kerbin. But no-one Star knew was there. This was not a Kerbal domain. But rather, a feeding place for Mystical energy.
