Making Alternate History was previously labeled as 100% dependent upon Textures Unlimited, however this is revised and Textures Unlimited is now only required if you would like to use the Mk1 and Mk3 Habitat modules.

At time of posting, Textures Unlimited is version 1.9.x and no one can be responsible for any issues that arise from Textures Unlimited 1.9.x being run on 1.10.x. In testing with this mod, things worked fine.

Thank you @Shadowmage

Download Textures Unlimited:

Download Making Alternate History Update 1.10.1 now from Spacedock:

Patches include:

Connected Living Space

Kerbal Inventory System

Snacks

TAC Life Support

USI Life Support

Tweakscale

incredible!

also no 1.3.1 >:v

Sorry about that. The inflatable habitats leverage Textures Unlimited to make the animation happen, which is now 1.4.x. You could remove the Hab and the Hab3x .smf and .cfg files and it might work in 1.3, but the parts were still compiled with the new Unity so I can't promise anything :(

TU does animations now? ._.

Other than PBR textures, TU has the added benefit of being an asset-bundle-based model loader. This allows for models with animated meshes (blendshapes / shape keys) as opposed to just scaling / rotating of objects (the method for the "fancy" inflatable habitats as well as what makes the KEAM and KA-330 in Kerbalow Aerospace function the way they do).

On the other hand, bugs, weird things, less than desirable part reskins, and other things

I know... I can only hope they improve.

Hold on, isn't the descent stage supposed to have three RL-10's? There's only a node for one on it.

Yes, I am very sorry about that. A last minute technical caused this and has just been addressed. The normal map texture on the landing legs was broken and is also fixed. They look much sharper now. In addition, I was pushed by some other devs to change all the config patches to reside inside a single patches folder inside the MAH folder and changed two that weren't automatically detecting installed add-ons to do so. Now, no action is necessary involving config files. They will all automatically detect installed add-ons and function appropriately.

Very sorry about this again. Update available on Spacedock now: Download

I haven't read ETS in awhile, what lifter is supposed to take this up and does BDB have it?

Here's the mission plan, all launch on the Saturn Multibody H03 and the crew launch places the Apollo Block 5 above the lander fairing. (And BDB has it, use the Sarnus orange tanks.)

Oh it's nothing to do with this mod in particular, I just can't work out how you'd do the ETS mission profile in KSP.

Ahh, lol. Someone is creating a video of the mission for us :D

IDK if our friend here has modeled it but the Pegasus (transfer stage's name) attaches to the lander by way of a detachable docking port system. Essentially just a octagonal set of struts supporting a docking ring that attaches to the docking mechanism on the transfer stage. This assembly is then ditched with the Pegasus.

Shoot you're right... I have a S-IVC type docking system planned but not the one for Artemis. Pegasus is easy to kludge with BDB parts. Just use something like the new LDC-Titan upper stage tank with the S-IV's engine mount and RL-10s.

For now I think I'll fudge it and launch it as Artemis+Pegasus and Apollo instead of Artemis and Apollo+Pegasus.
