It shouldn't be that hard to replicate it at least for 1.43 (I'm still waiting for what the staus in on Kerbal Konstructs (KK) in version 1.4.5

Kerbal Konstructs works great in 1.4.5. It was a due to a problem created by Squad in 1.4.4 and promptly fixed in 1.4.5 so no update needed.

Ok so I am having Issues with the mod for KSP 1.3.1, I have KK installed, the old KerbinSide uninstalled (GameData folder below) and it still doesn't work. I tried creating new save files, wiping module manager and such.  I have the standard KSC exclusively. When I tried launching it another time, I could select all the bases and such but I was spawned at Sea Level without any KerbinSide Remastered Assets. I asked multiple people, all of them clueless. I really want to enjoy this mod, but I can't.

Did you start a new game? Because KK won't load on existing saves.

What version of KK? The latest for 1.3.1? I will need your log files for some debugging, because it loads up fine for me.

You are using the wrong Version of Kerbal Konstructs:

[LOG 12:25:52.357] KK: Version is 1.2.0.1 .

https://github.com/GER-Space/Kerbal-Konstructs/releases/download/1.3.9.12/Kerbal-Konstructs-1.3.9.12.zip

is the latest version which will work with KSP 1.3.1

So I tried again with that version, creating a new save file, and here is the log. https://drive.google.com/open?id=1F8NTfofx4TfYdt-tWJ7c1WIsMm84y2kY

I found it:

[EXC 15:22:19.359] UnityException: Texture 'KerbalKonstructs/MapDecalMaps/AllBlack' is not readable, the texture memory can not be accessed from scripts. You can make the texture readable in the Texture Import Settings.
	UnityEngine.Texture2D.GetPixels32 ()
	MapSO.CreateGreyscaleFromRGB (UnityEngine.Texture2D tex)
	MapSO.CreateMap (MapDepth depth, UnityEngine.Texture2D tex)
	KerbalKonstructs.Core.ConfigParser.LoadAllMapDecalMaps ()
	KerbalKonstructs.KerbalKonstructs.Awake ()
	UnityEngine.GameObject:AddComponent(Type)
	AddonLoader:StartAddon(LoadedAssembly, Type, KSPAddon, Startup)
	AddonLoader:StartAddons(Startup)
	AddonLoader:OnLevelLoaded(Int32)
	AddonLoader:OnSceneLoaded(Scene, LoadSceneMode)
	UnityEngine.SceneManagement.SceneManager:Internal_SceneLoaded(Scene, LoadSceneMode)

this error comes from a too slow computer... (or too many mods) I cannot reprodice it, but I hope I can fix it:

https://github.com/GER-Space/Kerbal-Konstructs/releases/tag/1.3.9.14

Explaination: Unity forbids access to image bytecode to all images in the GameDatabase after a few minutes runtime. When KK is not loaded by then, it crashes. I now read the images from disk by bytestream and then KK can access them.  (Backport of a fix for KSP1.4)

I have an i7-6700 with 16 gigs of memory so it's probably my cluttered GameData Folder, thanks for all the help!

Your new base is even better, and more compact. Your should really offert them to the public. They are amazing.

I second this motion. @damonvv Would love it if you posted the configs for those. They're beautiful I don't know if I can make something that great on my own.

Hete are a few downsides on this. One is that this is made in a 2.5x scaled KSP and won’ work in a stock scaled system. And two, it’s will put your framerate down slightly even with a beast of a Pc
