Floating Launchpads in non-mission mode

I saw the new 1.4.3 patch and how they added a new floating launchpad for mission mode, It would be cool if they added one in the middle of the ocean east of KSC for landings/launches in career or sandbox! Or maybe make it place-able for a price in career?

I like the the idea that it be included in the same way as the Dessert airfied, which is if MH is installed.  But unless there is a way to determine its location in game then i'm not sure it's worth it.
