Engine Plates and resource view

When I use the Engine plates for staging my rockets, it appears that the resource view does not show the appropriate values when "stage view" is selected. Am I using the Engine Plates wrong? They seem to be working properly.

Welcome to the forums!  I'm having trouble understanding your question.  Specifically, what do you mean by "resource view" and "stage view"? 

Do you mean the fuel flow overlay?  It's flow gets reversed when using engine plates:

I guess OP was mentioning the situation where the stage under engine plate doesn't have proper resources displayed during flight when stage only view is selected.

It also affects kos scripts, as ikos doesn't see proper resources amount per stage when using engine plates.
