Shower thoughts

Not a shower thought, but a thought about showers: If you ever find yourself wondering "do I need a shower?" the answer is probably "yes".

Similar to how if you’re driving during daylight hours and it’s raining to one degree or another, and you wonder if you should turn your headlights on, then you probably should (and may as well).

The future contains the past. Not just in a figurative or idealistic way. Literally, geometrically.

Light cones?

My pet bird probably hates or loves me but I’ll never know

What makes you think that it/he/she is aware of your existence as "you"?

A small bird (like a canary) may treat a human as a pack of separated bird-like creatures, and defend the human hand from the human head.
(Though, big birds are usually not wiser. They advice to not keep the hand with a falcon close to face.)
They treat hands like same small bird, while the face as on owl.
Especially they hate when you put on glasses and look at them with big round "eyes". Then they get sure, it's an owl sits on top. When you take them off, the bird thinks that the owl is not an owl anymore.

So, probably in you pet bird's imagination you look somewhat like this.

where the lateral heads are mostly good, and bring the food.

While the middle one is more weird and when you approach and say "Hey, birdie-birdie-birdie!.." looks somewhat like this

especially if in glasses.

Upd.
So, at least somebody thinks, you're an ent with the birds sitting on branches.

The winter holidays are coming.
The internet video sites are full of winter romantic comedies, winter family comedies, good-hearted winter melodramas, sweet winter comedies...
Everybody there is wearing warm and fuzzy sweaters, fur coats, fur hats, woolly socks, ugg boots, woolly scarfs.
All of them look like warm and fuzzy pets.

Spoiler

How and when did I get on this furry freak show?!...

A shower thought I had an hour ago: "It's midnight, on Christmas Eve night. What am i doing with my life, so that I'm awake this late? Or rather, this early for Christmas morning?" I'm pulling an all nighter.

(Story: I slept about 1.5 hours earlier in the night, and couldn't fall asleep.)

I'm as old as I've ever been; and as young as I'll ever be.

If a hot water heater heats cold water, shouldn't it be called a cold water heater? (literally had this thought in the shower, for obvious reasons.)
