Should the notification sound be brought back?

Yeah, I liked having the sound, it let me do my "Pavlov's dog" imitation of checking the forum every time I heard that sound...

No, because however it was implemented always caused the music on my phone to stop playing. No other notification or alert sound ever does that - only things like embedded YouTube videos (which require a click to play them) ever had the same behaviour.

Is it the regular notification doing it, or do you have browser notifications enabled?  I've never enabled browser notifications for anything, but I would still receive the blip before it got shut off.

As far as I know it was just the regular blip. I've never seen the need to enable browser notifications.
