Tutorial - How to link successfully to images on imgur.

1. Go to your imgur account and upload the image you want to display to an album - make a note of the file extension - whether it's png, jpg, etc.
    
2. Go to the image and click on the "copy" button next to the link:
   
   
   
    
3. Now go back to your forum post and click on the "Insert Other Media" and choose insert Image from URL"
   
   
    
4. This brings up the following window:
   
   
   
    
5. Paste the Copied URL into this box but do not click on "Insert into post" yet - the URL is not complete it will  look something like "https://imgur.com/xWhY2cH"
    
6. Now at the end of the URL add the dot "." and the file extension of the original image for example "png"
   
   
    
7. Now you can click Insert into Post and you have your lovely image posted - Tada:

Album Linking doesn't work - interestingly that album code doesn't even go to one of my albums even though I copied it from the embed code for one of my KSP albums

 

@Geonovast lol I hadn't seen you had almost exactly the same thing in your sig

Instead of using the copy button, you can also right-click the picture and use the "Copy Image Location" option to get a link already including the file extension
