Replace Stock Jet Engine Sounds for Realistic Ones

Recommended Posts

I want to create a sound add-on or mod for the jet engines in my game.  I know that Real Plume, Jet Sounds, and the updated sounds has done some work to modify those sounds, but it really isn't enough for me. I want to modify sounds those based on real-life engines or those from other flight simulators like FS2004, FSX, P3D, etc.

Do you think there is a way to make/create a mod to modify these sounds easily?

Are you using steam for ksp?

if so, right click ksp in the library, go to properties, go to local files, click browse local files, look for gamedata, go to squad, find the jet engines, go to their config file and replace the sound with a file you have.
