Centre view on craft

I've finally caved in and updated to 1.4.3 but am now experiencing a problem.  In 1.3.1 if I was in map view and focused on my target destination, if I wanted to centre my view back to my craft, I pressed backspace.  This doesn't work in 1.4.3.  Have they re-mapped the key, disabled it, or is there some other setting I need to change?

use the tilda ~ (the wiggly line next to the 1 button) 

backspace is now your abort hotkey

Which is odd, cause as long as I can remember, I have always used backspace as my abort, and I don't remap, I just use the default. 

Granted, I just learned about the tilde thing a few months ago (there's always something)......

It depends on how you update the game. If you update on top of a current game, it doesn't overwrite your settings.cfg file. So old default key mappings can persist forever this way. But backspace was changed quite a few versions ago (1.3.0, I think?) to backquote.
