No Making History Community Missions?

Hey all, I wasn't sure where this question belonged, so mods feel free to move it if there's someplace better.

 

I haven't played KSP in a while but recently got the itch.  I have the Making History expansion, but under 'Community Created' I see nothing.  Is this because I'm running a modded install or what is going on here?  Are there just none?  I was looking forward to seeing what people could come up with!  I've tried searching for this issue, but can't find anything relevant.  Any help would be appreciated.

Yeah, the list doesnt hook into any database or anything, you have to hunt the missions down yourself, install them, and then they’ll show up in your Community Created section.   

The best place to find some are on these forums, in the Making History Missions section.

Umm...okay.  Thank you for the answer.  That's....not how I would have designed it.  But at least now I know!

It's a can of worms. They either have to pay someone (*cough* Curse *cough*) to maintain a database that they link to in the game, or maintain the database (and server) themselves. Or, let us do it the way we've shared ships and mods for all this time, which works and is pretty much "do it yourself."

I'm a little surprised there's not a CKAN-like thing for missions yet, but missions aren't very popular so maybe there's no real need.

I wonder if you have to pay extra to Steam to use their Workshop features?  That would be a perfect place to house missions.  Yes, all you non-Steamers will have to get out of the stoneage and get with the program.  Sorry!
