[1.12.x] ScienceAlert ReAlerted : Experiment availability, now with DMagic support

Recommended Posts

Hi Guru,

Tried reinstalling several times. Besides copying the gamedata files and the dependencies, I don't see what I could be doing wrong. Have not played since thursday either.

Here's another link to the file:      http://dasher.nl/kerbal/Player.zip

And a screenshot of my gamedata folder    http://dasher.nl/kerbal/screen.jpg

Ummm, I don't see ScienceAlert in the log file at all, and it's not in the picture either

This question is about [x]Science but originated about a question earlier which of these two mods would work with 1.11

Well, taking about a bug in one mod, in a different mod's thread, to the level of providing log files, is not reasonable.  As is actually what happened.   I spent a significant amount of time looking at ScienceAlert because of this misplaced post

You yourself asked to post logs and even linked to the latest version of xScience here in this topic.

I may have referenced xScience, but if i asked for logs, either I was a bit confused or was thinking about the problems you mentioned with this mod.

sorry for the misunderstanding

I have translated the few strings of the mod into Italian. How can I add them to the Github-repository?(I tried through github but it doesn't let me create a new file in localization folder)

If you want to do it on Github, fork the repo, make your changes in your own repo, then either let me know or do a PR and I can merge it

Decided to have some KSP fun for the first time in ages, updated all the mods, everything seems to be working fine except for [x]Science and ScienceAlert (latter of which I'd never used before but tried it next).

Neither work at all, not even an error code, they simply do not appear ingame.

SAR doesn't work in 1.11.2 for me, even though it's marked 1.11.2-compatible on CKAN.

The buttons from ScienceAlertRealerted just don't appear on any of the two toolbars. What's funny is that in toolbar settings I can choose which toolbar should display this mod's buttons but in the end no toolbar displays them.

Edit: works after reinstallation

Hello, I finally got back to playing KSP after a while and reinstalled this must have mod. Thanks for still supporting this great mod.

I made a new install on KSP 1.12 and used CKAN to install SCANSAT and ScienceAlert. However, in the advanced options menu the SCANSAT integration option is red and if pressed prompts "you must install SCANSAT". SCANSAT is installed and working (i have all the buttons on the toolbar). Are there some patches not available on CKAN that I should manually install to enable the integration?

I am running SCANSAT v20.4 and ScienceAlert v1.9.9.2.
If I should post logs or anything else please let me know.

Thank you again.

Hi there !

I have a bad time setting the profile, all of that to it being reseted to default conf often. Does anyone knows why, or have the same "bug" ? I don't really know how to reproduce it, I would say that restarting the game is anough to make it reset, but I'm not very sure...
