joystick button limitation

I am attempting to use my saitek X-52 Pro in KSP. After much trials, i got the AXIS and buttons assigned, but this is where i ran into problems. I could only assign 19 of the 39 buttons present on the X-52 Pro. Also the mouse stick does not function as a mouse in KSP. back to the button issue. HAT 02's up direction is button 19 and is the last button assignable. but the other directions and all the directions on hat 03 is tottally unsassignable. the wheel buttons below the joysticks MFD are also unassignable, becuase they fall within the button numbers past 19.

I am new to KSP so while I get used to how KSP works, I want to stay away from any mods, no matter how useful they might be.

also the hotas profile that  was supposedly added to ksp in the last update DOES NOT EXIST. not anywhere in steam or in ksp.
