So, about a year ago, someone started a thread just called "Kerberos". I hadn't joined yet, but I saw the link in @Geschosskopf's signature and thought it was a cool thread. So, let us start wondering!

I don't know if this belongs here, but I'm pretty sure it does.

So, I was randomly browsing the internet today, and I discovered that Pluto has a moon named Kerberos. It is the fourth moon of Pluto, and was discovered back in 2011... BUT it was named in mid 2013. The article says it was named after an asteroid, but you've got to wonder... maybe the person who suggested that name played KSP.

Probably not, but, even so, it would be an interesting coincidence. Thoughts?

Greek names have many variations.

Kerberos is another name for Cerberus.

Its either a funny coincidence or a hidden joke.

I think its most likely for it to be a coincidence, but i hope thats not true.

Well, Charon was named after the discoverer's wife. Maybe all of Pluto's moons have double names like that.

Wait! I just had a great idea! I'ma going to put a Kerbal named Kerberos Kerman in Seeker! That would be cool. Also, that Wikipedia article on Kerberos was cool. Thanks, @NSEP!

Styx, another moon, is also a band name. Though that's probaby a coincidence.
