Probs just an Easter egg for now though.

 Mods might be a way to make it a launch site.

Also, I have that as a Kerbal Konstructs site, but I'm not sure how it got there. Also I can't use it because every rocket I put there goes BOOM!

 

I think it's from MissingHistory but I didn't see a KK folder.

Does MissingHistory make Baikerbanur a KK launch site? 

Also, not sure why I don't have KK installed yet. It looks like an awesome mod.

As far as i know the only KK mode that uses that launchsite is Kerbinside

Are you running a bunch of mods?  I had an issue not long ago where I keep blowing up if I got anywhere near Bairkerbanur. It was like there was an invisible forcefield destroying my plane, whether I tried to descend from the air or taxi from the ground, though I could get through if I was under around 7mps, but I still had a flash of fire when I did so.  Weird.  It turned out Modular Flight Integrator was messing with it. It took me some time of systematic removal and reinstallation of mods to figure that out.

 

Incidentally, I recently had another mod cause the radar dish at Woomerang to disappear. So I would see if one of your other mods is at fault.

The reason why that happening is because the launch site its not flat.It has this Vally like thingy that is right in the middle.That could make your rockets go BOOM!

Try adding launch clamps
