OPT Mode Planes spawn in midair and crash

Hi everyone,

I have the OPT Spaceplane mode.
Whenever I design a spaceplane or any cargo plane with a cargo ramp, it spawns like 500 feet above the runway and starts falling.
If I replace the cargo ramp module with a normal tail, the craft spawns correctly on the runway.
Anybody seen that and knows a fix?

Not sure about a permanent fix, but as for a temporary fix, what happens if you use launch clamps?

Uh, just tried...

Now it hovers with the launch clamps attached...

I've had this happen with some of the airplane wheels - don't remember if they were firespitter or Airplane Plus parts.

never did figure out what was causing it, just stopped using those parts.
