i didnt used armor a lot. i have only 1 vehicle with it where i tested how it work. thickness is set to 500. and i dont remember dropping clusters on it. so i dont have anything to compare with.

I tried setting deployment to 100m (i.e. crashing into the VAB before deployment), and used 2 bombs to wrecked the VAB.

yup sounds like truth. but for me it doesnt work like that anymore. i did my research in the config&source files at github. looks like cluster bomb part itself works completely fine, but after deployment it triggers something else, that guides those little bomblets untill they explode. so i think that "something else" is broken for me.

Sounds like the module for cluster bombs. 

Would you mind to test and see if the cluster bombs can blow up other crafts?

tested already. dropped 1 bomb on top of the landed a-10. after hit it looked like deconstructed lego, but most parts survived. unfortunately didnt make a screenshot.

How does this compare to different altitude-deployed cluster bombs?

And how does this compare to other missiles? E.g. tow, hellfire or maverick.

there is a problem. only few bomblets are detonating. count the amount of bomblets and then count amount of explosions. https://imgur.com/a/8m6qdPR ~50 bomblets and only 6 no-sound explosions. there is definitely a problem here.

That looks like more than 6 explosions.

On the topic of sound, can you verify the presense of the files and that they are functioning?

And deploying the bomblets higher so you can get a beter view.

nah that looks like 6. look more closely. count them by straight lines, where explosion texture collides with terrain. and yes. sound files are ok. and silence is not constant. sometimes there is sound, sometimes there isnt.

@Acid_Burn9 @Xd the great This is not the best place to have such a discussion about a possible bug. Bear in mind that every KSP player subscribed might be receiving one email per message posted.

Would you mind to open an issue in our GitHub repo and continue the discussion/troubleshooting there?

Are you using modular missiles? If so you need to be using the guidelines for building and mounting the missile. It sounds like it's not deploying because you have it set up wrong, and it's instead giving your plane a rocket assist.

Yep, whatever it is called, you do not need a modular missile guidance attached to your plane.

You attach it to the missiles.

And do refer to the github wiki.

If you are attaching the experimental missile module or if you are using this:

I am having an issue with the Rotating Bomb rack. I have been trying to build a B-52 equivilant aircraft and it fly's fine but when I try to deploy the payload, the weapons will not drop. I try to use manual drop but they still will not drop. I have about 16 Bomb racks in the bomb bay. Is there somthing I am doing wrong or is it just me?

they might be upside down. check it.

You don't at this point.
  Although the LMP guys have created a much better environment than DMP, there are still major issues to be worked out with regard to multiplayer combat

I a having an issue with the bda Dogfight Ai.  Not a glitch just looking for a reason why.  The Ai will fly away from the target providing no control inputs except for occasionally some roll.  it will do this until it is 2.4 km from the target no matter the guns range set on guns or weapon manager.  It usually doesn't make it that far but occasionally it does and then it re-engages normally.
