A spaceship without windows? What the hell is the point??

I mean, this is... ok... but only because you wouldn't be missing out on much since you would only be heading to a space station in the same initial orbit after only a few hours at max.

Now, a space station or other long-term habitation without windows would be a true crime. (IIRC Bigelow might even be trying to do this with the B330 at the moment, it's unacceptable!)

Well, it should be easier and cheaper to not install windows, but it sure would be nice to have a little viewport to look outside....

Screens would work fine... but seeing with your eyes is different.

(this vehicle would likely be getting ready for an uncrewed test flight to ISS in anticipation of flying crew to ISS is the whole selection process wasn't crooked (their bid for commercial crew was less than Boeing).

I know nothing about the specifics of this competition. But in general, the low bidder does not always win. And sometimes should not win.

The high bidder shouldn't always win, either.

Somehow that seems to keep happening, though.

As I recall NASA said SN was was more likely than the other 2 to miss the 2016-2017 flight date (LOL).

They're honestly just not good at this stuff (predicting costs and schedules).

(wonder what happened to Blue's biconic crew vehicle?)

Is this shooting star Vehicle a complete Service module that could be used as a tug for other modules or more like the Dragon trunk?

More like Dragon trunk. It will be detached and deorbited at the end of the mission, just like Soyuz service module.
