Old textures

Hello, I've been playing KSP since 2013 and i don't really like the new fuel tank/decoupler textures, is there any way to get the original ones back?

also i prefered the old explosion FX, is there any way to get those too?

You can extent the part list in the editor by using the advanced mode (there is an arrow/triangle thingy in the top left corner) which provides access to some old parts with old textures. There are probably not all of them but I know about several tanks and the MK1-2 Command Module.

I guess, I've also seen a mod which uses the new 'variant theme' feature to make these parts easily available but I cannot find it right now.

Regarding the explosion FX, I don't know if there is a way to get the old one back, sry.

Keep in mind that these are just parts, which are still in the game and available in the advanced editor mode. It is just a little bit easier to access

The old explosion textures were incompatible with the upgraded version of Unity that was used in KSP 1.4.x.
