Drop an item from 500m

Anyone have a quick shortcut for this in their sandbox testing routines? 

I often want to drop an item from 500-1000m just to test parachutes or gliding...  

I was thinking there ought to be something in the debug menu to just make altitude 500, but I seem to be missing it?

Launch clamps and the nudge tool. Hangar Extender can also help.

Using the HyperEdit "Land" feature might also be an option.

@GearsNSuch  I was hoping there might be a key on Vessel Mover that I didn't know about to just increase altitude... it already has a drop button too.

HyperEdit seems to have been broke-ed-ded for awhile, for me anyway.  Maybe I try it again.

I would just fix some boosters to the item with structural pylons and let 'er rip... or RIP.

SHIFT and CTRL raise and lower craft respectively.

AH!  There it is  ...a tad slow on the elevation, but works exactly as I had hoped!

I don't remember if it holds true for elevation movement speed, but TAB will enable you to move very quickly or very slowly (4 speeds.) It might only apply to lateral movement though.
