[Request] Simple Mod to Toggle Kerbal Parachute Physically Off and On

As the title says, we need a simple mod that can toggle a Kerbals Parachute physically off and on. That way our Kerbals don't have to travel in space with them or when they don't need them. Also this way we can see the nice art on the new EVA suit on the back. I guess there are some gauges and readouts back there, but we can't see them. 

I mean I don't mind having the Frodo backpacks in a environment where we need them. A simple right click option to toggle it off and on would be nice (Squad), but who knows, making this mod might not be that simple.

I don't think so. There is no option to toggle off.

I thought they showed pics of the new suits w/o the packs. In what situations do the packs NOT show up?

I have no idea, they are on all the time I think.

Yeah they showed pics of the back. Maybe Squad is going to add the option later.
