Landing gear lights not working

Put simply, they won't activate when I want them to. Even when I'm spamming them.

Did you try to activate the light in the part action menu or just hit the 'u' key?

Some stock crafts (maybe some crafts from kerbalx as well) don't have a correct configured default action group for the lights, you should check it in the editor

2. I made the craft and haven't touched the lights action group

How many lights does the craft in question have?

In the game settings you specified how many active lights you'd like to allow.

Any beyond that won't render.

Is it many of them, where some of them don't appear to work in flight?

Increase "Pixel Light Count" in the settings.
