It depends on what you want out of the pack you choose. If you want strange and beautiful views or you are into references, I would say go with TWB. I can't say much for KSS since i've never used it, but I do have TWB and have enjoyed it immensely.

KSS looks quite good if you can handle the system requirements and if you like a ton of eyecandy. If you don't fill both of these, go for TWB.

If  you have a NASA PC get KSS

If you have a normal PC  get TWB

i'd actually recommend KSS if you have a powerful computer, not mentioning that it'll get some compatibility in the future with TWB

In my opinion, TWB is very much a comfortable experience that retains the stock system and feel while introducing a diverse array of vibrant, detailed bodies. There is also compatibility with an astounding number of other planet mods. I would highly recommend it

I have been playing TWB alone and I´m LOVING it! 
And let´s remember I have only Traverse System with no (longer) any visual enhancements.

Both will melt your computer

If you enjoy realism then KSS.

If you want nice views then TWB.

We're planning on adding compatibility with TWB for KSS eventually though.
