Yes, it drives me crazy when I just want a kerbal to walk around without a box on his back.

I noticed it for the first time the other day, while on the surface of ... Iota? One of Gael's moons. I was happy to see it because it was new and it meant that Kerbal er I mean Gaelan can now parachute if anything were to go sideways on re-entry.
